I love John Galliano and I just checked out his spring 2011collection. This collection was inspired by Christian Dior's Illustraitor René Gruau. When you look up Gruau's work you can see how the inspiration translates to his collection. Here are a few examples of his work.
And here are some images from John Galliano's Spring 2011 collection. John Galliano even uses beads to embelish the black ink lines in Gruau's illustrations.
So beautiful I can't wait to play around with the images on Polyvore and create some sets to inspire some designs of my own.
